Japan’s Stationmaster Cat

Caturday on Sundee! :O
Sorry I didn't post a kitteh on caturday. :(

"The train operator has promoted 10-year-old female cat Tama, currently a stationmaster of Kishi Station on the Kishikawa Line, to the post of operating officer in recognition of her contribution to expanding the customer base.
This is the first time in the world for a cat to become an executive of a railroad corporation, a company official said. Tama will continue to serve as the stationmaster while assuming the new role."

Professor Splash

Back in 2007, Darren “Professor Splash” Taylor traveled to Japan to set a world record by jumping from a height of 10.70 meters (35 feet) into 30 centimeters (12 inches) of water into a kiddy pool. He was recently invited back so he could break his old record with a 10.83 meter jump.

Hamburger vending machine

The vending machine sells hamburgers for 100 yen each. Upon inserting a single 100 yen coin, a hamburger quickly comes out of the machine. However, a second try fails to produce a hamburger. It turns out that it can only hold a single hamburger and is operated manually by the man who runs the store. If you want more than one burger, you’ve got to go inside and order it.

After his restaurant got featured on TV for its weird vending machine, the owner installed a second manual vending machine that sells 300 yen “royal” burgers (normal burgers with some added tomato and bacon).
